Bandleader and jazz vocalist Leah Rutherford was born and raised in Greenville, SC. She is currently studying Jazz Vocal Performance at the University of Miami Frost School of Music, with 2x Downbeat Student Music Award and a 2024 Youngarts Winner with Distinction award under her belt. This quartet consists of Frost talents William Armstrong on keys, Ben Mini on bass, and Jeremy Baun on drums. The band's music includes original arrangements of a variety jazz classics, as well as modern jazz tunes.

Laura & Josias are a Miami-based Latin duo blending the musical traditions of Latin America and Spain with the contemporary sounds of today. Their arrangements move fluidly between boleros, Spanish ballads, and modern R&B, creating a sound that honors their cultural heritage while exploring new, forward-thinking sonic landscapes
The Charlotte Vaughn Quintet is a jazz and R&B ensemble. Their repertoire spans from timeless jazz standards to your R&B fusion favorites. Its five members, all students at the Frost School of Music, bring together a diverse blend of musical inspirations to form one unique, memorable sound.
The Wire Jays are a five piece contemporary Newgrass band that prioritizes creative songwriting, musicianship, and fun in their music. They aim to bring bluegrass into the 21st century, taking risks and creating new sounds with the classic string-band instruments associated with the bluegrass genre. Currently based in South Florida, The Wire Jays began playing together at the Frost School of Music, where they honed their sound and perfected their songs. The Wire Jays are dedicated musicians who just happen to be best friends. They wish to spread their love of Newgrass music throughout Florida and they can’t wait to perform at the Music at McBride Plaza concert series.
